Having worn the male version of this jacket for a while I was massively impressed by the warmth provided. And so, I wanted to get one for my better half. The only thing I didn't consider however...is that hers looks far better on her than mine does on me!
Hoofing jacket Royal, she loves it!
I purchased this jacket because I wanted a lightweight, well-made, warm jacket that would withstand the rigors of frequent travel and hard use, if not technical climbing. I could not be more pleased with the Fenrir. It’s comfortable in warmer winter temps with a light tee underneath and in true cold with an extra layer, Key for me is the thoughtful design, including inside zip pocket, deep hand pockets and solid zipper. I’ve crushed this jacket into tiny spaces remaining under airplane seats and stuffed it repeatedly inside my shoulder bag; I’ve bunched it up and tied it literally in knots. I love that I can wave my arms around overhead and the sleeves don’t restrict motion or slide down and the bottom doesn’t ride up. The hood pulls up easily when needed and stays out of the way otherwise, Truly, this is one of the best purchases I have ever made. It’s my first Jottnar product but it won’t be my last. I hope the market for such well-made women’s outerwear grows and the selection of women’s products expands.
Lovely down jacket - well made, great detailing, looks good. Warm enough for most scenarios without being bulky. Wears well - bought last year but still looks as new. Neat fitting so a medium worked for me (I’m a 10 - 12).
I was looking for a jacket robust enough to endure many miles of rough terrain cycling high in the Himalayas and in particular to keep me warm going over the Thoran La pass at 5416m altitude by bike. I immediately fell in love with this jacket. Comfortable, warm and light I basically worn it every single day. When normally wearing a size small I opted for a size medium so I could wear plenty of layers underneath it, which ended up absolutely perfect. Whilst other riders were complaining about the cold, my Jottnar jacket kept me warm in -15 degrees Celsius and I simply will not buy another down jacket again. I tried pretty hard to destroy the jacket during my 800kms of bike packing through Nepal at crazy heights but really it still looks as good as new and it doesn’t even smell! I am very impressed!
Really great jacket, keeps me nice and warm in windy conditions. The fit and feel is excellent! The customer service is also great, really friendly and helpful!! Would definitely recommend this jacket!
