Made from Jöttnar SKJOLDR™. The windproof, waterproof, breathable fabric for severe weather protection and durability.
Features include an integrated RECCO® Rescue System diode and antenna-based passive transponder; hand and chest pockets; internal valuables/smartphone pocket; forearm lift pass pocket; large inner dump pocket to stash gloves or keep ski skins warm; two-way pit zips allow temperature regulation; helmet compatible hood patterning for excellent visibility and unimpeded head movement; Cohaesive™ hem adjusters for simplified cord management; and our signature anti-snag hem cords to avoid tangling with gear.
Wear over a mid layer or base layer as your final protective outer layer for climbing, skiing or alpinism.

New purchase which has not disappointed, I intend to save up and buy the hard shell pants next year, the quality, fit and functionality outweighs any I have ever owned.
Amazing jacket.
I've only worn the jacket a couple of times so far but it seems good. Others have commented on the surprising lack of a two-way main zip which is a little inconvenient but most other practicalities have been considered including an excellent hood. It's too early to tell but the material gives the impression of being tough and resilient; definitely windproof but I haven't really tested the waterproofing or 'breathability' yet.
This Jacket is just amazing, feels good and fits great. I love everything about it, the pockets the color the texture. Watch out Arc’teryx
Love this hard shell. I have tried various other top brands which all had weaknesses, design flaws or weird fit. This jacket has exceeded my expectations.
Its first proper outing was 8 hrs in the remote mountains of Rannoch Moor with high winds, spin drift and blizzards! I stayed cosy and dry thanks to the Floyen jacket and the Hodr shell. I have found when you wear a Jottnar outdoor garment in the conditions they are designed for, they absolutely do the job, you can tell they have been carefully considered. All the pockets are in the right place, the hood is great with and without a helmet (adjustment toggles in perfect place). The wrist/cuff fastening is sturdy. I could adjust and use all zips easily with big gloves on.
The fabric is tough too as I found out practicing my ice axe arrests on hard packed snow ice up in Glencoe last week. I look forward to many a journey with my Hodr Shell.
